Niacinamide is one of the most well-researched ingredients in skincare. Multiple studies have shown that niacinamide acts like an antioxidant, improves your skin's barrier function and makes it more resilient, decreases hyperpigmentation, reduces fine lines and wrinkles, decrease redness and yellowness, and improves skin elasticity.
This moisturiser is a lightweight, hydrating formulation that contains 4% niacinamide, vitamin B5 and vitamin E to give you healthier, more hydrated skin with more even tone and texture. You might ask why we've used 4% niacinamide instead of the more popular 10%. Niacinamide is readily absorbed by the skin and numerous studies have shown that even at concentrations as low as 2%, it offers a litany of benefits without the irritating side effects often experienced, especially by sensitive skin types, with higher concentrations of the ingredient.

Crème B3-B5-E with 4% niacinamide
Niacinamide is one of the few ingredients in cosmetics that upholds a strict benchmark known as the Kligman Standard. It is readily absorbed through the skin when topically applied, a lot is known about how it works and many studies have backed up its effectiveness over the years.
It is the physiologically active form of vitamin B3 or niacin, and has been used in dermatology for over 40 years for many conditions including acne and rosacea, and more recently, photoaging. Studies have shown that niacinamide has antioxidant properties, stengthens the skin barrier, helps decrease hyperpigmentation, reduces redness, and protects against skin ageing.
We wanted to bring you the benefits of niacinamide in a format that’s easy to use and incorporate into your skincare routine, and is suitable for all skin types, including those with acne, fungal acne and sensitive skin. To this end, we’ve created Crème B3-B5-E, a lightweight moisturiser that combines 4% niacinamide with panthenol or provitamin B5 and vitamin E to provide skin with hydration, healing and antioxidant support. We’ve formulated with 4% niacinamide (instead of the usual 10%) since multiple studies have shown that niacinamide is effective above concentrations of 2% but a lot of consumers report experiencing irritation at the high concentrations typically available in the market. This concentration results in a product that is effective, but also better tolerated by a wider variety of people.

I have tried so many moisturizers before even from big brands but they end up causing me breakouts. However this one is the most perfect product for my skin! It balances out my oily skin and kept my skin away from chapping during the winters.
Suggestion: I feel like we should have a bigger bottle for this moisturizer because it's quite inconvenient to get your hands on it while living overseas. 😅
